A medieval Annunciation carol, Nova, Nova, is a mini liturgical drama for unison choir and three solo characters: Narrator, Angel Gabriel, and Mary. Parts for handbells, hand drum, triangle, and recorder add a nice earlymusic touch. The short refrain brings the assembly into the story in this attractive and unusual arrangement. For cantor or soloist. 3 Handbells (D, E, G) Percussion part is for Hand Drum or Tambourine and Finger Cymbals or Triangle. Recorder part can also be played by organ.
